So I just realised, the campaign’s been live for a couple of days, yet I’ve not updated my site. This shouldn’t come as a shock, because I’m really bad at updating my site. If you’re coming here from the campaign page, hello! I’m Zed. I don’t update very often – I’m awful at it. WordPress scares and confuses me.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, go to the BitJackers campaign page. There’s a video and a whole bunch of text to explain what it’s all about, which I contemplated just pasting here, and then thought “Nah, they don’t want to read the same thing twice.” So just go there, instead. Please.
And definitely please watch the video – I can’t even begin to tell you how long that thing took to make. Something like six attempts, and so many hours of editing, and then even MORE hours of uploading. Just.. I mean… I hate making videos. Absolutely hate it. That, and printing things. It’s 2013, and we still haven’t streamlined the printing process to an easy, manageable form.
But I digress.
I think I WILL be writing more updates, but they won’t be directly ABOUT the project, other than “reasons why you should donate”, which I’ve just started doing on Twitter, for the unfortunate sods who happen to follow me there.
So yes, that’s BitJackers, I’m Zayne, hello, please give me money.
It’s Ludum Dare time again, around the rather difficult theme of ‘Evolution’, and that means new games coming from me, straight to your entertainment-box. Yes, games.
For a lot of people, making just one game in the space of 72 hours is a massive achievement (and so it should be). Me? I had to be different. Of course I did. So I made two. Read the rest of this entry
The Flash remake of my second ever game (I promise, I’m done with remakes now) is now available here, so go and play it, if you want a brief, well-written, funny exploration of what it means to hate humanity.
Actually, it’s been out forever. But this is the Flash remake, and it’s much better than the original (the first game I ever made).
Play it here
So I got a swanky new blog-based site, ditching that old, hideous ‘Tumblr’ monstrosity. No more ‘over capacity’ from all the teenage ‘Scene’ girls uploading their instagram photos of benches. Woo!
There’s not a lot here, and I still need to migrate some content over, but there’s now links to some games that never got covered on my old site. I’m planning to actually keep up to date with things, now. Honest.
So enjoy these things, and go vote for my Ludum Dare entry, if you’ve entered.
